Iron Wok Jan by Shinji Saijyo is a really great story. I picked up the first ten volumes at Half Price Books this week and I am now really hankering for more.

The title character is an upstart teenager who is a trainee in a Chinese restaurant. He was taught techniques by his grandfather and is convinced that the true power of cooking comes out when compared to another. There are other trainees at the restaurant, including the granddaughter of the place's owner.

There area number of competitions that have taken place in the texts so far, and I am thoroughly amused by the many recipes for Chinese remedies that have shown up after every other chapter it seems.

If you like Iron Chef and snarky teens, I would recommend this series.
Stuff I'm into at the moment: Geeknights, Anime World Order, Nerdy Show ,and baking.
