Naka-Kon 2015

Postby stevenk » Thu Oct 02, 2014 12:12 am

Registration for Naka-Kon 2015 is now open at http://naka-kon.com/registration (just in case anyone hasn't already heard).
This will be the eleventh annual Naka-Kon, and will be held March 13-15, 2015 at the Overland Park Convention Center and Overland Park Sheraton Hotel.
Naka-Kon remains a 100% fan-run, volunteer-run convention, so we are hoping for the continued support of all the fans who have helped keep the convention growing!

Oh right...this'll be my 10th! For some their 11th!! Naka-Kon is definitely the center of the local anime-fan calendar. Thank you for the reminder; I always like to register early and mid-March is a great time for a con.

The programming schedule is out. As usual, my luck is mostly terrible: Name That Tune doesn't even start until 9:30 PM Saturday night.

930 pm is pretty late. I see greggo is back. Hopefully he completes beta testing before the actual game

Thanks for the info Matt. I had checked just two days ago & found no schedule. I'll be looking at it close today.
My personal schedule is not that great for that weekend. I probably wont be able to pick up my badge on Thursday. And I work usual late hours on Friday. I like being there more on Friday than Sunday. Looking forward to it! Now's the time to make some meetup/after con activities.

Greggo himself is and always will be in the beta mode.

Just a quick reminder. Registration will open Thursday, March 12th in Exhibit Hall A of the Overland Park Convention Center. We will start distributing pre-registration badges at 4 p.m., and will open up for badge sales at 6 p.m. We will have a LOT of stations open on both the Will Call side and the Sales side, and have really worked to streamline our processes to keep wait times down to the bare minimum. Thursday is a good time to come in since the convention doesn't officially open until Friday afternoon!

Let me know if you have any requests for Curt this year and I'll relay it to him. I already asked for Kill la Kill and Space Dandy stuff.

If he has any more of those Tenchi VHS tapes that he was selling for like a buck a piece, I will buy a few more. Kill la Kill is great to.

My recent suspects, Toradora and Nisekoi. I might spring for an Outbreak Company artbook too. Especially since I've now seen the beach episode - hubba hubba!

Thanks.

Gonna need more specifics if you want him to bring some. He has stuff from several of series and has no idea which you already have.
