I thought it was red shutters. <check> Nope your right. Ektachrome not Kodachrome. Pink flamingos.

Everyone please park on the left side of the driveway or in my neighbors drive: white house on East side.

Stuff to bring? I have regular Coke for Tim & Dr Pepper for Matt. We'll have left over pizza I imagine plus I went to the neighborhood K Store & bought some stuff. I don't have any bottled green tea or Hello Boss type coffee. If anyone wants that you might want to bring it.

Anime Expo steaming sounds pretty interesting. And I bet Zero will bring something weird/fun/ecchi to sample as well. Scored Border 3 of GitS last night if interest moves us on that far.

What? Must be the drugs, Scott. Thanks very much for the effort, and I don't want to seem ungracious, but I despise Dr. Pepper. If I were capable of pretending to like it, I would, but I'm pretty sure you don't want me booting all over the Scottcave.

Pepsi, man! Pepsi. But don't make another trip; we'll bring some.

Please e-mail your address so's I can Mapquest it ahead of time.

No you're confusing me with my avatar.

New PM sent let me know if you get it. In the old forum wasn't the outbox a place foe messages to be held until they were read ? And then they moved to the sent box? I do not see this new pm in the outbox. However my note to jas went through fine.

Thanks for having us all over Scott. I had a blast as I'm sure everyone did. As it turns out I've watched all of the Genshiken franchise (including Kujibiki Unbalance) save for a single OAV episode that, as best as I can gather, was bundled with the last manga volume in Japan. I hope it gets licensed here at some point. The cast has a certain well-balanced dysfunction that I have yet to tire of.

I am so lucky to be in the company of such good friends! I am glad I watched Dark Star & have a copy to expose someone else to some time. Jormungand was good enough that I will definitely follow up on that. Watching Jas videos, Cutey Honey (what a great image!) analog record playing & Genshiken was a wide range of fun. If only I had a bit more room for guests.

That was a blast! Thank you so much for having us Scott! And Christina is 100% ready for a next viewing session! I'm a little surprised by how much I really enjoyed Dark Star. It had A LOT of things I loved. The early Cutie Honey blew my mind as well, gonna have to watch the rest another time. GitS: Arise is a must to follow up on, so good!

Also seeing Dark Star was great to reveal the samples used by the band, Pinback.

Thanks for organizing and hosting, Scott. It was good stuff. I'm about to try out the square-lead mechanical pencil I bought at Youki - updates to follow!

Good to see you all.
