You'll make it to one of these somehow Scott. I'll definitely keep an eye out for any CH material but I don't imagine there will be much.

To everyone who is going, I was thinking we'd queue up at my place on Saturday anytime after 9 and take off by 9:30. That way we can get there by 11:30 or so and can grab lunch at the little Italian place (or wherever) to keep from faltering midway though Curt's loot due to fatigue and hunger. From there we can hit the Asylum fully charged!

I am afraid I am going to have to cancel. My Grandma passed away today, and the funeral is planned for this weekend. I probably wouldn't have gotten much anyway, got 4 figures preordered for November

Well, the lasagna was reportedly not as good as before, but I was okay with it.

Good was the getting of stuff, though I spent less than in times past. I guess I'm going to have to stop living a lie and admit that I buy cels occasionally - Haunted Junction and Patlabor in this case. The thing that I got most excited about was a Lupin III: Castle of Cagliostro art book, which is the kind of magic old stuff Curt comes up with. I picked up two posters, a CardCaptor Sakura and a Tenchi Muyo. And one Read or Die hentai dojinshi - I just can almost never bring myself to pay that kind of price ($15) for porn, but it was Yomiko Readman. I also made several saving throws, though, in hindsight, do kind of regret turning down the CardCaptor Sakura cake plate.

I regards to your inquiry, I think I saw about three Urusei Yatsura posters, and Tim, Brian, were those balsa wood gliders UY too? I can't remember.

I think we were there about four-and-a-half hours.

I think next time I'm going to suggest we stop to eat at either Chicken Annie's or Chicken Mary's - it's kind of, I don't know, disrespectful to keep driving past such venerable institutions.
