Are those yours? That's a really nice set, I like the composition, and the figure's base has been worked around.

The pics? Of course! I was toying around with making sets this weekend (well *a* set). Unfortunately the screen height was limited to the length of the craft sticks so I used one bamboo tea tray for the floor and the other as a step-up wall for the screen to give it decent height. I've concluded that I need to find a source of precut wood of fitting scale for projects like this in the future and some tools beyond a utility knife and furniture touch-up markers. The tissue paper screens were relatively easy to work with but even easier to wreck so I'm looking for alternatives there too.

It's funny you mention the base. I actually went to great lengths to stick her to the floor with a clear Blu Tack alternative yet neither of the keeper photos show that off. Maybe next shoot...

I don't know about "of course". There was one occasion on which I assumed someone else's pictures were yours, to my embarrassment. And I couldn't find any evidence that the plastiqpixel entries were yours. So I asked.

Regarding scale materials, according to Yelp, Mini Temptations up on W. 95th is closed, so you may have to go on line. Google "dollhouse supplies." I don't know if any of the standards for statues (1:6, 1:7, 1:8?) have corresponding scales in dollhouse supplies (typically 1:12), but you'll surely find useful material, tools, and cute lighting fixtures. It won't necessarily matter if wood molding isn't he right scale if you're using it somewhere besides a dollhouse. Plus, there's always forced perspective - you might even be able to fake in wrong-scale furniture.

But, yes, a really sharp set!

Trying to hide the bases on the gaming minis I use was almost unworkable. I ended up just cutting them off.

That was an entirely artificially produced "sunset" BTW. Here's a shot more typical of my bombastic background lighting:

I assumed it was an artificial sunset, and it is a nice one!

Another nice one! Good lighting, and where did that spiral floor come from?

The spiral is a glass cake platter thingy (dunno the formal name for one).

Sadi-chan from One Piece (I've been told I'm not anywhere near where she makes her appearance but the figure was cool so I jumped:

The longer One Piece runs, the larger the boobs get. I expect by the time it is done, that they will be Eiken level breast sizes. Nice work as always Tim.

Heh, yeah that's a theory I've heard for some time now too. I've even seen a series of shots of Nami throughout the manga showing her becoming progressively more ample as time moves forward. Glad you liked the one keeper photo I took. It was one a few quick shots of her after I fixed her broken horn that got knocked off during shipping.
