Reading list these days

Postby bakamatt » Sun Mar 09, 2014 10:09 am

After what seemed like a dry spell, I find myself following a fair number of titles these days:

Neon Genesis Evangelion (the original, not any of the spin-offs)*
Oh My Goddess!
Spice and Wolf
Kurosagi Corpse Delivery Service*
Soul Eater
Sould Eater Not*
Hayate the Combat Butler*
A Certain Scientific Railgun
Highschool of the Dead
A Bride's Story
From the New World (This I tried as an experiment. As of the first volume, it turns out to be a feeble story in support of ecchi and kind of explicit yuri scenes. Which is to say, yeah, I'll try a couple more volumes.)

Over on the original Japanese language side, I'll still buy Patlabor when I find issues I don't have. The same goes for 3x3 Eyes, as I'm entertained by the way they pop up unexpectedly - I found two volumes at Haslam's Books in Tampa (nice store!) while we were living in Florida, and four more at the Japanese Festival bazaar.

*Of uncertain publishing status - there might or might not be any more volumes released.

Just finished volume 4 of Genshiken: Second Season over lunch and things are starting to simmer. At the current schedule volume 5 will be quite some time out but damnit I don't want to wait!
